	Hotel Villa del Mar was build as a private villa for a American-Mexican family. A few years ago it was changed into a boutique hotel with classic-elegant ambient.

Truly a different hotel for Playa del Carmen, quiet, with a lot of charm, like a oasis in the center of this fascinating and vibrant town.

Hotel Villa del Mar is located just 2 minutes away from the famous 5th Avenue, 3 minutes from the tropical sandy beach and 5 minutes from the local bus station, providing 24h front desk, right in the heart of Playa del Carmen (see map).

The 8 rooms are all equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe deposit box, hair dryer, private bathroom, orthopedic mattresses, free wireless Internet access and satellite TV. Daily housekeeping is included in the rate.

The hotel own dive shop, DiveMex, offers PADI diving courses and daily diving excursions to the local reefs of Playa del Carmen, Cozumel and the Cenotes.


	The STANDARD rooms are equipped with one queen size bed for one or two persons. The SUPERIOR rooms are bigger and have a comfortable king size bed for 1 or two persons. The GRAND SUPERIOR rooms offer even more space for 2 queen size beds for up to 4 persons, refrigerator, microwave oven and a small balcony.
